Serpent Ring

18ct yellow gold and black sapphire cocktail ring

£5,000.00

“I am not interested in the restrictions imposed on fine jewellery by tradition and trend. I am interested in juxtaposition – that line where bold statement and timeless beauty meet”, explains Tessa.

The Serpent Ring is one of the designer’s most avant-garde cocktail rings and quite unlike any others. Made from 18ct yellow gold and pave-set with black sapphire, use this ring to bring a contemporary edge or rock’n’roll feel to any outfit. This ring has featured in Vogue online and Retail Jeweller Magazine.

The Serpent Ring is available immediately in ring size O/P but can be resized to any measurement. Please allow 1-2 weeks for any size adjustment. Please kindly note re-sized items of jewellery are non-refundable.

Cocktail rings first emerged in the jazz-age of the 1920s as a symbol of opposition to Prohibition. During that time, an alcoholic cocktail was about as rebellious a status symbol as you could get. Making sure that everyone noticed your illicit drink was equally important – particularly for women – who were beginning to challenge their proscribed role in the home and society. Nowadays, cocktail rings are worn in a myriad of ways. We still suggest, however, that statement cocktail rings, especially this one, are given room to breath when worn – putting two pieces of bold design in close proximity together can lead to a hot mess! Wear the Serpent Knuckle Ring on its own for maximum impact.
