Antarctica Ring
18ct yellow gold ring set with a hand-carved quartz star and pave diamond detailing
In the late 15th Century belief began to grow that there existed a new land mass beyond Tierra del Fuego, which subsequently came to be called the Unknown Southern Land. This continent was later discovered to be the frozen expanse of Antarctica, after which this striking cocktail ring takes its name from.
The Antarctica Ring is hand-crafted in 18ct yellow gold and set with a large, star-shaped quartz crystal and pave-diamond detailing on the band. Whilst it is a real show-stopper, this gold cocktail ring is also extremely easy to wear due to its neutral palette and restrained choice of gemstones. In our eyes this one-of-a-kind piece is true jewellery sculpture in miniature, and the perfect match for anyone who loves narrative-inspired cocktail rings.
The Antartica Ring is available immediately in size N/O and can be easily adapted to fit any ring size.
This piece has featured in such publications as Retail Jeweller Magazine, Professional Jeweller Magazine, Jewellery Focus Online, Fabric Magazine; and has been chosen by Stellene Volande as one of her favourite picks on 1st Dibs.
