Rock Pool Earrings
18ct white gold, verdigris brass, black rhodium, white enamel and citrine crab earrings
In the north west corner of our imagined garden lives a watery grotto. Its cave-like walls are decorated with broken seashells and white coral, and in the cool, dark waters of the rock pool below miniature crabs can be seen swimming at midnight. These striking earrings draw their inspiration in both form and colour from these magical crabs, with the black rhodium finish evoking the shadowy lagoon in which they reside.
Hand-crafted in 18ct white gold and verdigris brass, the mismatching Rock Pool Earrings are set with cushion-cut citrines and decorated with touches of white enamel to bring out the colour of both the orange gemstones and green metal below. Extremely lightweight, these one-of-a-kind earrings are the perfect, statement accessory for anyone who loves animal jewellery or critters of the sea.
These earrings have featured in such publications as Adorn India, VO+ Magazine, Country and Town House Magazine, Wallpaper Magazine, Brummel Magazine, Katerina Perez Online and Times Luxx Magazine.
The Rock Pool Earrings hail from our Once Upon a Time in My Secret Garden jewellery collection. Inspired by the landscaped gardens of William Kent and Capability Brown, the exotic menagerie’s of George Stubbs and Jacques-Laurent Agasse, and the writings of William Shakespeare, Phillip Pullman, Lewis Carrol and Frances Hodgson Burnett (amongst others), this collection aims to bring to life the weird and wonderful flowers and creatures that would reside in our imagined garden.
