Pacific Ring
Sterling silver and peacock pearl ring
This timeless, cute pearl ring is the little sister to our Pacific Cocktail Ring. Hand-crafted in England from sterling silver, and topped with a pretty freshwater peacock pearl, this little gem of a ring makes the perfect present for pearl lovers, classic jewellery admirers and June babies.
As gemstones go, pearls are pretty unique as they are pretty much ‘jewellery-ready’ in their natural state. They don’t need to be cut, shaped or polished in order to look their best. In its traditional pure white colour, the pearl has often, through history, been associated with purity, loyalty and chastity, and at one point believed to be the tears of the goddess Aphrodite herself. Warming to all complexions, the pearl lends itself easily to all forms of jewellery, including pearl necklaces, pearl earrings and pearl cufflinks for men.
This ring is available immediately in size O/P but can be adapted to any ring size for small additional fee. Please note this ring is non-refundable once resized.
The Pacific Ring hail from our For King and Country collection of fine jewellery. This collection draws its inspiration from the tools used to explore the seas during the Golden Age of Discovery – a period of European history marked by extensive exploration, dangerous sea-bound voyages and great adventures in the quest for colonial expansion and new, economic riches. Iconic navigational symbols of the sky – such as the stars and moon – here sit alongside forms recalling globes, maps and latitude lines. The heavy use of pearls in this collection is also important as it echoes the coveted bounty of the day, plundered in the East and brought to the West over this period of time.
