Key West Earrings

Bold and beautiful, these gemstone and resin leaf earrings are about as novel and fun as you can get when it comes to hi-lo jewellery.

Hand-made by Tessa in her London studio, these earrings use a very special technique of setting precious gemstone into resin, which is unique to Tessa’s work and her Plastic Fantastic collection. The result is a really cool and mesmerising method of incorporating tourmalines into the two green monstera leaves without the need for metal to incase them, making them more visible in the round. And at the top of each resin leaf is a pair of gemstone cabochons: green agate for the lime-coloured leaf and peridot for the darker, forest-green one.

Although these earrings are statement in size, they are as light as a feather. Resin is a very lightweight material, making the Key West Earrings perfect for those who like to wear big jewellery from morning to night. We also think this piece would make the best pair of holiday earrings. You can just imagine wearing them at a tropical beach dinner, for Caribbean cocktails, poolside at some chic villa or wandering around the Hamptons.
