Flower Power Earrings [White]
Blue lucite flower stud earrings
Flower power was an expression or slogan used during the late 1960s and early 1970s to encourage passive, non-violent thinking in the face of the Vietnam War. Coined by the American poet Allen Ginsberg, the phrase aimed to turn war protests into peaceful affirmative spectacles, and this was most readily adopted by the hippies of the era, who embraced the symbolism by dressing in clothing and accessories with flower motifs, as well as wearing flowers in their hair.
Our Flower Power Earrings are inspired by the ‘flower children’ of the 1960s, and the incredible floral designs that came out from that time. Crafted in cast, vintage lucite, these pretty floral earrings feature a stainless steel, plated ball stud at the centre which is not attached to the petals, allowing you to wear the stud on its own should you choose.
Being made of lucite, the earrings themselves are incredibly lightweight, making the Flower Power Earrings the perfect statement accessory to wear morning to night. They are available online in three colours: dusky white, pale purple and navy blue.
