Brighton Rocks Earrings
18ct yellow gold, diamond and watermelon tourmaline drop earrings
The Brighton Rocks Earrings are inspired by their foodie namesake – ‘rock’ – which popularised the British seaside in the early 20th Century, and has stayed a firm favourite of sandy holidays ever since. Here, Tessa substitutes the colourful, boiled sugar candy for slices of green and pink watermelon tourmaline, which are shaped just like the original sweet. Pave-set white diamonds can be seen sprinkled on both the back and front of the earrings, mimicking the sprinkling of icing sugar often found on penny sweets. The overall look is one of elegant whimsy. As noted by Tatler, “They’re little swingy zips of colour that will make your ears very pleased with you when you put them on. Buy them and you’ll see”.
Hand-crafted in 18ct gold, the Brighton Rocks Earrings are true statement earrings – they will not fail to elevate any formal (or informal) ensemble.
These earrings have been featured in several publications including Country Life Magazine, Tatler, Sphere Magazine, and The Jewellery Editor.
